Stories on Stage Davis will feature a reading from On the Pony Express Trail. The reading will take place Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Pence Gallery in Davis, CA. The wonderful thing about Stories on Stage is that the stores are read by actors, who tend to be much better at reading stories aloud than authors. There will be two stories. The second is a hilarious story written by my close friend Katherine Nolan. The story is from her book Aphrodite in Jeans: Adventure Tales About Men, Midlife, and Marriage. Kathy and I are currently training to ride a tandem together in the upcoming AIDS LifeCycle, a 545-mile, 7-day fundraising ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles, in June.
For those who can’t make it, we plan to videotape the readings. I’ll post a link here once they’re ready to view. But if you’re in the area, it would be worth stopping by. The event should be a blast.
