Episode 9, the last installment of Bikepacking the Pony Express, is up. It’s titled, “The Great Basin and California,” and covers the trail between Salt Lake City, Utah, and Sacramento, California. I rode parts of this section in 2020, a year before my ride from St. Joseph to Salt Lake City, scouting new parts of the route and helping assess alternate routes.
