Episode 7 of Bikepacking the Pony Express is up. This episode is titled, “The Steppes of Central Wyoming,” and covers the sixth section of my ride, from Rock Creek Hollow, Wyoming, to Granger, Wyoming. This section is about 110 miles long. It crosses the Continental Divide at South Pass then descends to the Green River Basin. Along the way are the Parting of the Ways, the crossroads town of Farson, Simpson’s Hollow, and the Green River crossing.
