Episode 6 of Bikepacking the Pony Express is up. This episode is titled, “The Poison Spider Route and the Lower Sweetwater,” and covers the fifth section of my ride, from Casper, Wyoming, to Rock Creek Hollow, Wyoming. This section is about 140 miles long. After leaving the North Platte River and crossing a 50-mile divide to Independence Rock, the trail follows the Sweetwater River toward the Continental Divide at South Pass.
