I am now in Edgar, Nebraska. While I’m setting up for the night, probably illegally, in Edgar’s South Park, I had a couple of thoughts I wanted to share about this blog.
First off, thank you everyone who reads, and especially those of you who comment. It’s such a pleasure to hear your thoughts.
On that note, I want to apologize for not responding to most comments. By the time I’m done each night, that’s about it for me. I’m sorry I’m not responding, and hope you’ll keep posting anyway.
As far as posting is concerned, it is hard for me to tell who the author is most times. Maybe if you added your name in the form (if there’s a place to do that), or if not, in the text of your comment. Being anonymous is fine, too, if you prefer. I just wanted you to know that you really are anonymous so far as I’m concerned.
That’s it for now. I hope to catch up on posts in the next few days, when I take a short breather in Kearney.
Thanks!
It’s so fun to read about your adventures. So well written, too. This ride is like the movie “Nomadland,” except your story is way more interesting. — Jonathan
Thanks Jonathan!
Thanks for the posts, Scott! The landscapes and people are great! I hope you get a rest day soon. Careful in the heat. Chuck
Yes, I am. But if the Edgar police bust you, I’ll post bail.
Yes, I am. But if the Edgar police bust you for illegal camping, I’ll post bail.
I’m enjoying the blog and following you on Spot. Thanks for the photo of Dale and Marilyn. It is great to see some of the people you meet.
In Kearney, if you need some content ideas, maybe you can do an AMA blog.
I hope the heat and wind are not too bad on the next segment of your ride.

Scott, your stories are fascinating, and it is amazing that you can share your daily travels in a way that I thoroughly enjoy reading each day, AFTER slogging through the mud and heat and wind and all else. Thank you. – Dianne L.
I’m interposed impressed that you can even write a brief note, let alone an amazing journal about the adventures and emotions of your days journey. You make a sister proud.

You’re quite the adventurer yourself.
I’m loving this blog Scott, the photos, the stories, your struggles. You’re doing something I will never be able to do so living it through you is a real treat.
Valerie
Valerie, you wouldn’t want to do it, believe me. Lisa is so happy she’s not here.
